Eurozone Final CPI drops by 0.4% MoM in July, misses estimates

  • Eurozone Annual inflation arrives at +0.4% in July.
  • Monthly inflation in the bloc drops by 0.4% in July.
  • EUR/USD keeps its range around 1.1940 on the data release.

According to Eurostat’s final reading of the Eurozone CPI report for July, the consumer prices came in at +0.4% on a yearly basis, meeting the flash estimate of +0.4% and +0.4% expectations. While the core figures rose by 1.2% versus +1.2% previous and +1.2% expectations.
