AUD/USD moves to the downside in Asia

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD lost strength after rising more 85 pips from Thursday’s lows and pulled back below 0.9000 early in Asia. Hours ago peaked at 0.9021 and now is moving to the downside. Recently bottomed at 0.8986, fresh daily low.

The Aussie is among the worst performers so far on Friday: as the AUD/USD hits fresh lows the NZD/USD remains above 0.8300, near daily highs.

The pair is headed toward the first weekly decline after rising in the previous three gaining more than 350 pips. Price action found resistance at 0.9070/80 and the rally lost momentum. Currently the AUD/USD trades at 0.8990, 45 pips below last week close.

Flash: BoE hike rolled back to November - Nomura

According to Philip Rush, European Economist at Nomura, the BoE needs more time to see hikes are needed, hence the change by the bank in calling rate hikes from August to November.
