UK election: Evidence mounting of Labour's surge in votes
One of the main take aways so far is that UKIP has collapsed, and the question now is, have the votes gone towards Tories or Labour?
Results from Jarrow is yet further evidence that Labour is gaining ground, with Labour 65%, Cons 25%, UKIP 5.4%.
Labour are taking more seats than expected vs initial estimates of potentially just fighting to hold back.
