Spain sells short-term debt at lower yields

FXstreet.com (Łódź) - The Spanish Tesoro Público sold a total of 3.1 billion euros worth of 3- and 9- month Letras at a debt auction on Tuesday, exceeding the maximum target of 2-3 billion euros.

937 million euros of 3-month bonds were auctioned at an average yield of 0.343%, compared with 0.631% seen at the previous auction. 2.2 billion euros worth of 9-month bonds, were sold at an average yield of 0.655% versus the previous 0.841%.
