Switzerland: GDP rises 1.9% in Q3

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - On an annuual basis Swiss GDP increased 1.9% in Q3, following a 2.5% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. This result higher than market consensus of +1.7%.

Year-over-year GDP rose 0.5% in Q3, following +0.5% in Q2 and slightly above expectations of 0.4% growth.

Germany: Import Price Index drops 0.7% in October

The German Import Price Index fell 0.7% in October, after remaining unchanged the previous month, Deutsche Bundesbank revealed on Thursday. Analysts expected less decrease of 0.5%.
