AUD/USD backs away from 3-week highs
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD weakened slightly and dropped below the 0.9500 mark during the New York session following a string of solid US data.
AUD/USD slid to a fresh daily low of 0.9455 weighed by strong Philly Fed and housing US data. At time of writing, the Aussie is trading near lows at the 0.9460/65 area, where it records a 0.6% decline on the day after rallying 1.8% on Wednesday.
AUD/USD corrective movements seen as limited
Form a technical perspective, Valeria Bednarik, chief analyst at FXstreet.com notes that the upside remains favored, with corrective movements seen as limited. The analyst places immediate support levels at 0.9430 and 0.9390, while she sees resistances at 0.9520, 0.9550 and 0.9590.
