Dollar under pressure ahead of FOMC meeting, EURUSD continues gains

The bearish dollar trend has remained intact, as markets await the conclusion of the Fed's two-day meeting, which begins today.

UK: Annual CPI at 2.7% in August, as expected

On an annual basis UK CPI slid to 2.7% in August from 2.8% in July, National Statistics informed on Tuesday. This result is in line with forecasts. Month-over-month UK CPI grew 0.4%, after remaining flat and slightly below expectations of +0.5%.
