ECB lifts ELA cap for Greek banks for the 3rd time in 6 days - Reuters

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The European Central Bank (ECB) raised the amount of emergency liquidity available to Greek lenders, Reuters reported on Monday; however the exact amount was not specified.

Apparently, the ECB poured another dose of cash into the emergency facility for Greek banks for the third time in six days.

Last week, the cap was lifted twice - on Wednesday and Friday, when the ECB's increased the cieling by €1.1 billion and €1.8 billion, respectively, to a total of €85.9 billion.
