LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of most base metals viz., Zinc, Lead and Nickel. While Copper and Aluminium inventories witnessed a built-up.

Copper stocks increased by 4675 tonnes. While Aluminium inventories added 1825 tonnes. On the other hand, stock levels of lead and zinc deducted 4575 tonnes and 2975 tonnes respectively. Also, Nickel stocks witnessed a drawdown of negligible 18 tonnes.

EUR/USD extends losses to 1.0740

The shared currency continues to be relentlessly offered against the US dollar in the European session, knocking-off EUR/USD to fresh session lower closer to 1.07 handle, largely on a broadly stronger USD while the euro remains undermined Greece debt woes ahead of Friday’s Euro group meeting.
