GBP/USD suffers worst decline in months

FXStreet (Córdoba) - GBP/USD fell further during the American session despite US economic data and bottomed at 1.5350, the lowest price since August 2013. The pound is the worst performer among the most traded currencies on Friday.

The pair is falling 1.44% on Friday, the worst day since September. Cable weakened considerably after falling below 1.5500 and not even a worst-than-expected US ISM favored a rebound.

Before breaking decisively to the downside, the pair was trading since December 22 in a range between 1.5500 and 1.5600. Actually on Wednesday traded momentarily above 1.5600 but failed to consolidate.
