Wall Street opens the week with strong note

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market have closed Tuesday with strong gains as investors' confidence was fueled by better than expected US consumer confidence data and a real states prices picking up speed.

The Dow Jones advanced 106.29 points or 0.69% to close at 15,409.39. The S&P 500 added 10.46 points or 0.63% to 1,660.06. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 29.75 points or 0.86% to 3,488.89.

USD/JPY rises to 102.35 in the US closing bell

After trading below the 102.00 area in the latest session hour, the USD/JPY has bounced at 101.85 to trade back at 102.35 just in the closing bell. Currently the USD/JPY is trading at 102.230, 1.30% positive on the day.
